How we work
Above all else, we will ensure you get the Salesforce configuration and add-ons you truly need, in a realistic timescale which takes account of the pressures of campaigns and doing the ‘day job’. We are consultants in the true sense, rather than selling you what we think you’d like. We listen, we learn, we share and we’re transparent. We have a good knowledge of ‘Agile’ project management methods, but choose the best method to suit our clients.
Step 1: Scoping
Working with your key staff we will work out what your organisation’s unique needs and explain the best ways to achieve and exceed your goals.
We’ll share all the options, timescales and costs in a pragmatic, realistic manner and always with an eye to budgets and return on investment (RoI). We understand if you’re not IT or database ‘savvy’ – that’s our job – and will explain carefully the essential functionality.
Step 2: Build
Working collaboratively we’ll configure the software to the agreed specification and within the agreed budgets and timescales. We believe in being interactive, giving you sight of what’s happening at key stages.
If there are changes to the brief we prepare a new version of the scoping document and the quote and we do not deviate until you have fully signed it off.
Step 3: Transition
When everyone’s ready and the time is right we’ll transition your organisation from your legacy IT (database/s or CRM system) to your new Salesforce platform.
Helping you with any change management issues, we’ll train your staff and support you and your users. We’ll work with you to promote early buy-in from staff (which isn’t difficult as Salesforce is very intuitive, user-friendly and fully integrated with many Microsoft products.)
Step 4: Review
We don’t just walk away following implementation. We’ll review how you’re getting on with Salesforce and exchange feedback, in a two-way learning process.
Step 5: Ongoing support
We maintain a constructive and supportive relationship with our clients, helping you to grow and develop within the Salesforce platform and to embrace new apps and improvements as they are rolled out.
For any day-to-day queries and questions, in addition to Salesforce’s 24/7 helpdesk, Giveclarity has its own helpdesk with first-line and second-line support.
A little about international fundraising opportunities
Charities are evolving in the ways they fundraise, embracing new and emerging markets and geographies. There’s a growing trend in charities fundraising across multiple countries and continents, either from their own offices and/or via agencies.
Giveclarity is unique in having developed bespoke applications for specific countries, such as integrating Gift Aid processing for the UK market; similarly, we can develop applications to cater for multiple payment options distinctive to any country. We have excellent knowledge of international banking systems and how to integrate them easily within Salesforce.
From single card payments to regular giving, Salesforce is safe. All data is fully encrypted and the platform integrates with PCI compliance tools (a legal protection regime to prevent payment card fraud). We can configure Salesforce to support outbound telemarketing, face-to-face fundraising and responsive advertising campaigns across any geography.
Imagine managing international campaigns and having automatic reporting and ‘dashboards’ which drill down to reveal the efficiency and results of campaigns across multiple geographies, giving you insights into where to target and key performance indicators (KPIs).
We can configure Salesforce in multiple languages (assignable to individual user level) and in multi currencies which then ‘normalise’ to Sterling.
